Hello, my name is Zach.

I grew up in LA by way of the Red Sea and spent 9 lovely, colorful, and stressful years in NYC.

My first roll of film at 12, was of a tree next to a Chevron gas station in Venice beach with my

mom’s old Pentax. I was in love. My mom thought I was wasting film.

Perspective.

I’ve been traveling around the US working on Ides of Gender since September 2017;

a photo-essay honoring the beauty and diversity that is the trans community.

From the very beginning, representation and positive visibility have been imperative.
